Peoples Group Appoints Neal Oswald to Board of Directors

TORONTO, August 7, 2026: Peoples Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Neal Oswald to its Board of Directors. As a seasoned financial services executive and digital transformation leader, Neal brings more than 30 years of cross-functional experience driving change and innovation across banking, capital markets, retail banking and fintech organizations. 

Neal has held senior leadership roles at Concentra Bank, where he led the bank's digital launch and enterprise transformation initiatives, and CIBC, where he drove modernization programs across retail banking, wholesale banking, and technology operations. Earlier in his career, he also served as a Partner and practice leader with PwC and Ernst & Young, advising leading global financial institutions on risk, compliance, treasury, regulatory, and operational transformation.

Neal also serves in advisory and board leadership roles for Arthritis Society Canada, Ownest.AI/Credx, and the Canadian Red Cross. He also holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
