Peoples Group Announces Selwyn Collaco as Senior Vice President, Data & Analytics Strategy

TORONTO, January 17, 2024: Peoples Group is excited to announce that Selwyn Collaco has joined Peoples Group as Senior Vice President, Data & Analytics Strategy. 

Selwyn brings more than 25 years of information technology expertise in the fields of capital markets, risk management, e-commerce, cash management, business intelligence, data warehousing, data management, data governance, and CRM.   

Most recently, Selwyn served as the Chief Technology Officer at Microtech Digital Solutions. Prior to that, he was the Vice President & Chief Data Officer at TMX Group, where he developed and executed the enterprise data and analytics strategy, leading the product development and monetization of analytics products. At CIBC, Selwyn headed the enterprise client data management and strategy portfolio, implementing various revenue-generating technology solutions.  

Selwyn is a results-driven visionary leader, who has built and developed high-performance teams with a strong focus on delivery, process optimization, and automation. In his new role at Peoples Group, he will leverage his strategic executive leadership capabilities and enthusiastic problem-solving skills to build out a strong data and analytics engine.  

Selwyn has an MBA from Ivey Business School and Diploma in Systems Management and has completed several AI programs at MIT. He is a certified project management professional.
